We are incredibly privileged to have the opportunity to work alongside leading arts organizations here in Hamilton, across Canada and around the world. The AIFEC program in Hamilton was born out of a partnership with a highly successful initiative offered in Germany, “Jedem Kind ein Instrument”, after which our current program is modelled.
HMC thrives on strong community partnerships. Our programs help build confidence and self-esteem for hundreds of elementary school children by inspiring them to learn to play musical instruments. In many cases, these children could not afford their instruments or lessons without support. Thanks to our partners, new programs are being developed every year to engage even greater numbers of children as they age.
