Originally trained as a jazz drummer\, his brand new album “Here’s To Life\,” features classics from The Beatles and Ray Charles along with original tunes that promise to elevate John’s musical narrative to new heights. A marvel not to be missed\, Neudorf captivates audiences with every note. \nEmbark on a musical journey with John Neudorf\, a seasoned force in the industry for the past three decades. Originally honing his skills as a jazz drummer at Mohawk College\, John’s evolution into a dynamic vocalist under the guidance of Rosemary Burns marked the beginning of a remarkable transformation. Venturing into the blues realm\, John fronted bands alongside classic blues players like Mel Brown and shared stages with the iconic Mat “Guitar” Murphy. Simultaneously exploring the rich landscape of jazz\, John collaborated with local talents in the vibrant Niagara Region\, culminating in studies with Mark Murphy\, the esteemed “Down Beat” jazz vocalist of the year. \nJohn’s musical odyssey includes performances at renowned jazz hubs in Toronto\, showcasing his evolving confidence and technique. His debut album\, “I Remember” (2001)\, introduced a captivating blend of melodic favourites like “Creepin'” and “I Remember Clifford\,” alongside his soulful original composition\, “Last Time.” With a blues foundation as deep as his jazz improvisations\, John’s performances are an explosive fusion of scat\, warm phrasing\, and unmistakable passion for his craft.
