JAM 101

Student Playing TromboneJam 101 is an improvisation focused, fun-filled class offered to aspiring young musicians. Students with no previous experience, as well as those wishing to apply newly-developed musical skills can enroll in our JAM 101 program, which allows participants to explore a variety of instruments such as guitar, bass, percussion, ukulele, drums and iPad technology, all the while learning how to improvise and create music together.

Jam 101 is open to students age 6-12, and is run through our community outreach partner, the Kiwanis Boys & Girls Club of Hamilton.

There are two Jam 101 sessions at two different Boys & Girls Club locations, both on Mondays:

– 3:30 – 5:00pm at their main building located at 45 Ellis Avenue.

– 6:00 – 7:30pm at their McQuesten centre, located at 785 Britannia Ave in St. Helen’s School.

No registration required. For questions about the class, please contact Eric@hamiltonmusiccollective.ca.
