in the key of...E EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMS: AIFEC IN SCHOOLS Our core program, offering free weekly music instruction. Students receive a free instrument of their choice for the duration of the program. AIFEC IN THE COMMUNITY Our partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Hamilton, providing even more lessons and instruments to youth every week. JAMBASSADORS A weekly band program for middle and high school students with performance and recording opportunities throughout the year. JAM 101 A free improvisation-focused, fun-filled class offered to aspiring young students, perhaps exploring music for the first time. AIFEC ORCHESTRA A free concert band teaching students to follow a conductor and play in a large ensemble for the first time. BEATS BY U! A weekly electronic music production course just for teens, utilizing laptops and MIDI keyboard controllers. OPEN JAM FOR KIDS All musicians and singers age 16 and under are invited to take the stage in a free monthly jam session, lead by AIFEC instructors. INSTRUMENT PETTING ZOO A hands-on opportunity for curious musicians and parents to see, hear, and touch a variety of instruments and learn about AIFEC.
