HMC’s premiere jazz concert series in downtown Hamilton is back for its 11th year! All proceeds support An Instrument For Every Child. Secure your table now!

With 30 albums under his belt and a half-century career, jazz pianist and composer Harold Danko kicks off the series on Thursday October 2, 2025. Harold visits us from Rochester, New York after a cancellation last year, and will be accompanied by local favourites Terry Clarke (drums) and Pat Collins (bass). Returning after a sensational show in 2023 is Juno award-winning world jazz group Avataar, who performs on October 23. Avataar is inspired by the deep musical traditions of India, Africa and Brazil, rooted within the framework of modern jazz. In an innovative marriage of ancient and modern, driving grooves intersect with cinematic atmospheres and soaring melodies, creating a fresh, emotive sonic experience. Their album Worldview won the 2022 JUNO award for Best Jazz Album of the Year (Group). Canadian treasure and Juno winner Adrean Farrugia is a former Mohawk College piano instructor and will be joined by the fantastic vocalist Jessica Lalonde and his trio on November 6. Closing out the series as usual is saxophonist Darcy Hepner and his jazz ensemble on November 27, performing crowd favourites, originals, funk, blues and other surprises.

Save 15% when you purchase a Series Ticket. One ticket includes admission to all four shows in the series, and guarantees your preferred table for every concert.
